The student service center renovation equipped the existing College Services Building to serve current and prospective students. Additionally, there are conference rooms and office suites for the University Center and Enrollment Management offices located within the facility.
A new ‘One Stop’ facility was established within the College Services Building to streamline interactions with current and prospective students. This is part of the college’s initiative to simplify interactions with current and potential students. In order to fulfill that vision, Arkos Design created the Student Service Center, a facility that will provide information regarding the college. It will also provide assistance with admissions, advising, and financial aid applications.
The renovation takes the space vacated by the relocated bookstore and underutilized breakroom and opens it up to the existing student commons. The openness, windows to the corridor, and pronounced ceiling features invite students and visitors into the new space. The ceiling forms and flooring patterns enliven the area and guide people toward the concierge desk, which is highlighted by colorful carpet and ceiling circles.
