IRONHAND WINERY TASTING ROOM RENOVATION, 1910

Location

South Bend, IN

Size

5,400 sf

Completed Date

Winter 2017

This commercial architecture project involved the renovation of a part of what was originally a National Guard Armory, circa 1910. The Interior Design team worked with Ironhand Winery to select finishes complementing the original industrial structural elements. Custom features included the new wine bar, patio fence, toilet partitions, and some of the furniture.

All new furniture was provided for the tasting room renovation, with some items being retro or repurposed. New decorative light fixtures were provided throughout. Artwork and signage were designed uniquely for the building. Additionally, finish materials for the storage space and bathrooms were provided, along with a layout for a warming kitchen to support the wine bar and adjacent event space.
