Office environments in previous decades have evolved, and employee expectations for work environments have changed significantly. Zimmer Biomet‘s corporate office building offered significant natural light at the perimeter, but due to the current office construction, much of this amenity was unable to be shared. The renovated office spaces were developed to locate private, enclosed offices internally with open offices at the perimeter. The systems walls included transoms to allow privacy but not create a barrier to the views and natural light. Improved shared spaces for conferencing were provided which included smartboards, video conferencing, and flexibility in seating. Interior finishes were updated to offer a warmer, inviting environment. Other projects on the Zimmer campus include the Innovations Cafe, Research and Development Furniture, Z Center Commons, and Z Hotel Conference Room.
