Framed by the renovated library and the new Community Learning Center, this generous outdoor space provides flexible access and event programming for the library, civic auditorium, and the community. Large central lawn panels provide areas for tents, seating, or a place for children to let off steam.  Stone slab seating surrounds the lawn areas providing permanent seating, and generous open pavers allow for movable furniture.

A custom cedar pergola bisects the courtyard further defining the space, and swings create an inviting place for patrons to enjoy in the shade. The courtyard is enclosed on its south side by an ornamental fence with inviting gateways that provide access for scheduled events and library and auditorium access during business hours.   A third-floor terrace provides views of the courtyard and outdoor space for the Community Foundation staff and visitors.
