The Master Plan for this non-profit retreat center utilized extensive programming analysis to develop a feasible, flexible plan that supports both their mission and revenue-generating events.
The Board of Directors at the non-profit center The Oaks at SouthPaw Farm engaged Arkos Design to lead them through a planning process to determine a clear vision for the future of the property. They were looking to grow their programming and sought guidance on how to best utilize their existing facility and organize their property for future growth. Clear objectives were established early to ensure that the intended purpose of The Oaks—connecting people and bringing purpose and joy to people’s lives—was inherent in all decisions. Consistent communication, workshops, and in-depth programming analysis allowed priorities and realistic sequencing to be established. The end result is a feasible, flexible plan for the future that supports program activities that meet their mission.
