CHILDRENS ROOM, WHITE PIGEON TOWNSHIP PUBLIC LIBRARY

Location

White Pigeon, Michigan

Size

Completed Date

Fall 2020

The scope of this project included interior design services for the Childrens Room of White Pigeon Township Library.

Light, neutral walls and ceilings keep the space bright, while colorful accents in the finishes and furnishings add fun and character. The neutral backdrop allows the client to add seasonal decor. Where the amenities for older children and teens were previously intermixed with the young children and toddlers, thoughtful use of furniture and finishes now define areas for each group.

Intensive demolition and construction can be expensive and disruptive. Accent paint and pops of color in furniture create visual interest economically in this childrens room. The purposeful arrangement of furniture provides flexible, cost-effective separation of spaces.

“Even with our tight budget, Arkos Design helped shape the room into a bright, beautiful, comfortable, and more user-friendly space that families love to visit. I’m insanely happy with the results in our kids’ room!”
